Artwell
ArtWell is a not-for-profit community arts charity based in Basingstoke, using creative workshops and projects to support mental wellbeing and promote inclusion. Their activities provide a welcoming space for people to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with others through creativity.
Autism Hampshire (Serendipity Groups)
We run groups for autistic adults to meet in a supportive judgement free environment, groups are facilitated by a trained volunteer.

Basingstoke over 55's forum
Basingstoke & Deane Over 55’s Forum is a membership organisation for people aged 55+ in the local area. It offers social activities such as exercise sessions, a choir, trips, and holidays to help reduce isolation and build community. The Forum also provides information on health, benefits, and local support, and represents members’ views to local decision-makers.
Basingstoke Shed
Basingstoke Shed provides a welcoming space where people, mainly of retirement age, can meet, take part in practical activities, or simply socialise. Open to both men and women, the Shed offers opportunities to connect with others in a relaxed, friendly environment.
Christ the King Church Coffee Mornings
Christ the King (Brighton Hill) runs regular, non-faith community coffee mornings where anyone can drop in to socialise, meet others, and reduce isolation in a friendly, welcoming setting.
Christchurch Chineham Community Café
Christ Church Chineham runs the Oasis Community Café and Youth Café, offering home-cooked meals and a safe, welcoming space for social connection during weekday mornings and afternoons. The cafés are volunteer-led and open to everyone.
Inclusive Online Activities
Inclusive Online Activities runs weekly online sessions for adults with learning disabilities and SEND. Activities such as music, cooking, movement, and themed sessions help build confidence, friendships, and emotional wellbeing in a friendly, inclusive online community.
Inspero
Inspero is a Basingstoke-based community charity using food growing, cooking, and horticulture to support mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. Their projects bring people together through practical, nature-based activities, with a focus on reducing isolation and building resilience.
Leg Club Basingstoke
Support for people experiencing leg problems. The group meets every Friday 9am - 1pm at St Andrews Church Hall, Western Way
Love4Life
Love4Life supports autistic people and people with learning disabilities to build friendships, confidence, and social connections. Through inclusive social events, life-skills activities, and relationship support, Love4Life helps reduce isolation and support emotional and mental wellbeing.
SANDS United FC
Sands United FC Basingstoke is a football club for men affected by baby loss, including fathers and other male family members. The club uses football to bring men together, offering peer support and connection with others who understand the experience of loss.
St. Mary’s Basingstoke Lunch Club
Lunch Club is a fortnightly group for the over 60s. It costs £4 for a two course meal, followed by tea and coffee
The Café Project
Two community-run cafes in Basingstoke providing training and employment for those with learning disabilities as well as great coffee, delicious food, and friendly service, all while supporting a great cause. The project now has two café locations:
Café Dome, Brighton Hill Parade,
Basingstoke, RG22 4EH and Orchard Cafe, The Orchard, War Memorial Park, White Hart Ln, Basingstoke, RG21 4AF
Both cafes are open 9-3 Monday to Friday and closed Sundays and Bank Holidays. Café Dome is open 9-2 on Saturdays, Orchard Café is open 9-3.
Thrive Gardening
Thrive uses social and therapeutic horticulture to support people with disabilities, long-term health conditions, and mental health challenges. Their programmes and resources help improve wellbeing, confidence, skills, and social connection through gardening.

Walk n Talk for Mental Health
Walk n Talk for Mental Health is a Hampshire charity running free, weekly walking groups led by trained Mental Health First Aiders. Walks take place in areas including Basingstoke, Andover, and Romsey, and combine gentle exercise, fresh air, and open conversation to support mental wellbeing and reduce isolation.
Walk the Talk
Walk the Talk is a free peer-support community for people living with social anxiety. It offers weekly online group meetings using an evidence-based approach adapted from cognitive behavioural therapy (CT-SAD), combined with peer support to help people build confidence, reduce avoidance, and improve mental wellbeing in a safe, supportive space.
We Are Listening
We Are Listening is a UK-based charity supporting older adults who are living alone or feeling isolated. Their befriending service connects people with volunteers for regular telephone calls or correspondence, helping to improve emotional wellbeing and reduce loneliness over time.
