Alcoholics Anonymous offers confidential, peer-led support for anyone who wants to stop drinking. In-person and online meetings, sponsorship, and a 24-hour helpline provide ongoing recovery support in a non-judgemental community. Meetings are available across Hampshire, including Basingstoke.

Drinkaware

Drinkaware is a UK charity providing independent advice and tools to help people understand their drinking and make healthier choices. Resources include self-assessment tools, guidance on cutting down or stopping drinking, and information to support mental and physical wellbeing.

Gamblers Anonymous (GA)

Peer-support groups (in-person and online) for people who want to stop gambling.

Inclusion Recovery Hampshire

Inclusion Recovery Hampshire provides free, confidential support across Hampshire for people affected by drug or alcohol use, including support for families and carers. Services include alcohol and drug support, harm reduction, group and one-to-one support, and referrals into further treatment.
Support is available for adults and young people, including a 24/7 helpline for under-25s.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA)

Narcotics Anonymous provides peer support for adults recovering from drug dependency. Face-to-face and online meetings offer a safe space to share experiences and work towards long-term recovery. NA is open to anyone seeking support, regardless of the substance used.

OK Rehab

OK Rehab is a UK-based advisory and referral service helping people access support for drug and alcohol addiction. They offer guidance and signposting to treatment, detox, and aftercare options through vetted partner clinics, supporting both individuals and their families.

Rehab 4 Addiction

Rehab 4 Addiction is a UK-based advisory and referral service supporting people with alcohol, drug, and behavioural addictions. They offer a free helpline and work with a network of rehabilitation centres to help individuals find appropriate treatment options. Support is also available for loved ones and includes guidance on aftercare to help sustain recovery.
